Today is my birthday, and I want to put it out there in the open that my husband is awesome. Most guys get their wives/girlfriends pretty little things. MY husband knows me all too well and got me a Forerunner! I LOVE gadgets, and if I can incorporate a gadget into my workouts, then woo hoo! So watch out!
Today it was super windy and hot out here, but I went for a ride on Scout/Raisin today anyway. He was particularly good, not nearly as fussy as he usually is. We only ride for 20 minutes before he just stopped. I think he was just pooped. So, we called it a day. He was pretty sweaty, so he got treated to a bath. Horses have a lot of real estate, so as you can imagine it wasn’t exactly a quick process. But he’s all nice and shiny now. (Until he rolls.)
And I still haven’t made it to the gym yet. I blame Meerkat Manor… (and the killer spooning).

Okay Jeff, so this is how it’s going to be huh…
Lisa was already making noise about a tri bike, this isn’t going to help.
It’s not bad enough that you can spoon better than the other husbands out there, now you have to buy really nice gifts too. Way to make us all look bad!
