Pemberton Trail Ride August 14, 2007

While Jeff and I are vacationing in Whistler, we went on a 3-hour trail ride today in the Pemberton Valley.  It was SO fun and I am reminded that I am very lucky to have a good sport hubby that will do these things with me.

  

It was perfect weather, and probably a 500ft elevation gain which seemed at times to be straight up.

I have a new appreciation for trail horses, as the terrain would have been very difficult for even a person to walk over.

No heartrate metrics on this ride. This was vacation!  I even had my feet out of the stirrups most of the time.  Just relaxation!
