A hangover? Oh please… February 22, 2008

Jeff and I had our date night last night. It’s the one night a week we can talk without distractions. I decided to have a little extra with my meal, in the form of a rather stiff alcoholic beverage.
At 3:30am, I woke up with a splitting headache. I took a few Advil, but by 6am I still had a low-grade head-throb going on. The kind that I knew that if I did run I would be really sorry for the rest of the day.
And it was probably good I didn’t run. Even after 64oz of water, a double shot tall latte, and 2 more Advil, I’m still moving pretty slow. In fact, I’m going to take a nap in just a few minutes.
The gym is open until 8pm tonight, so there is still hope…
