I missed my morning run with Beth due to “mystery hives” (on my daughter, not me). We did a make-up tonight. It was really nice to actually see where we were going! The pace was nice too — not too bad with a full stomach and a stitch in my side the whole way! Woo-hoo!

I see where you have a schooling show in 7 days. How is your training with Tiago coming along?
I will soon be running in the morning dark because of the heat and humidity. We were at 85 degrees with 98% humidity yesterday. By the end of April it will be in the 90’s with that much humidity. I won’t even mention what August is like (put it this way, most of us don’t ride very much during that month. It will still be 99 degress at 9pm). We stall our horses during the hottest part of the day under fans–granted, the stalls aren’t like what you have in the north–they are very open. My mare will actually come up to the stalls around 11am and stand there with this look as to say ” Mom, I am ready–plug her in!” But then, she is thick skinned which was good when we lived in Canada.
Hope your daughter is ok regarding the hives.
