Run with Sherene April 15, 2008

Welcome to part two of a three-part series…

My run with Sherene was a quick one as I was late (oldest daughter forgot her backpack for school so I played fetch).  I was going for 4 miles but tuckered out at 2.5 — I’ve definitely lost a little bit of conditioning.  I thunked my speed down (visualize me frantically pushing the down arrow for speed control while trying not to get thrown off the back of the treadmill into the limb-gnashing elliptical trainers) and finished out 3 miles.  I liked my pace, though.  The 9-minute miles are getting more consistent.

I took my time stretching (aaaaaah…) and then schlepped youngest daughter off to ballet class (who is super cute when she’s dancing).

Tonight is part three in our exercise trilogy: EZ8 running class.

I will probably sleep well tonight.
