Working Out the Kinks May 9, 2008

I’m beginning to enjoy these walks with Kristi in the morning, especially after a hard day like yesterday.  It really helps me get the stiffness from the day before out.  I did the hill program at level 7.

I am noticing some interesting “heat” in my right shin (I’m such a horse nerd, I wanted to say “cannon” at first).  It literally gets warm (even to the touch) just to the left of my shin bone about 3/4 of the way up.  I started some cold compresses and my “Just-Say-No-To-Shin-Splints” exercises.  We’ll see if it nips that one in the bud.  No tenderness, which is good.

It’s going to be gorgeous tomorrow– I hope I can get to the barn to torment the pony before the rain comes.
